In yet another win for the recall, the administration of Governor Mike Dunleavy has been ordered by an Anchorage Superior Court to pay $190,000 in legal fees incurred during the fight for a constitutionally-guaranteed right to remove the governor from office. This win comes after the Alaska Supreme Court ruled in May that Governor Dunleavy broke state law and violated the Alaska Constitution.

Recall Dunleavy continues to move forward with the recall effort, gathering additional signatures despite a worldwide pandemic. Leaders spearheading signature collection expect this work to be completed by early spring 2021, paving the way for a mid-year special election.
